About

Life doesn't come in neat, separate boxes. And neither do the people we work with.

Why “Jigsaw”?

We take a whole-picture approach to psychology, working with individuals, couples, and families to bring the pieces together.

Every family, every person, every relationship is made up of different pieces. Some fit together easily. Others need a bit of help finding where they belong. That's what we do. We help you make sense of the pieces and figure out how they connect.

Jigsaw Psychology was founded with a simple idea: that good psychology should be warm, practical, and genuinely helpful. Not clinical or intimidating. Just real support from people who care about what you're going through.

Based in Park Orchards, Melbourne, we've grown into a team of experienced practitioners who bring different skills and backgrounds, but share a common approach. We listen, we don't judge, and we work alongside you (not above you) to make things better.

Our story

Jigsaw Psychology started with a simple belief: therapy should feel human first. The practice was built around the idea that good support means meeting people where they are, speaking plainly, and treating the whole person, not just the presenting issue.

Led by Alexa, Director and Clinical Psychologist, and with Jenelle as Principal Psychologist, together they bring experience across a broad age-range and variety of settings, including public mental health, not-for-profit sectors, and teaching. They share a strong commitment to understanding each person within their wider context — whether that involves family, relationships, schools, or NDIS supports — ensuring care is thoughtful, connected, and tailored for the people Jigsaw works with.
